Is this a full time or part time position?
There is full time and part time work available You are able to decide what you want your schedule to look like.
Why are some states restricted?
Some states do not allow 1099 platforms in their areas due to telephone laws.
I have an Arise profile, what do I need to do next?
Make sure you are not under another IBO since they will need to release you first. Then look under the documents section and select terminate MSA. Please contact us here for more information.
Why is training unpaid?
Independent Contractors are not employees and therefore do not fall under Labor Employee Rights. Please visit the IRS website to learn more about Independent Contractors.
Are there any fees to work?
There are no upfront fees. You will only pay $30 for your background check after you have decide which client you want to work for.
Will I be responsible for my own taxes?
Yes. You will be responsible for your own taxes as a 1099 independent contractor. There are no upfront fees. Taxes are not taken out of payroll. Visit the IRS website for more information on Self Employment Taxes.
Can I work for more than one company?
Absolutely. You can provide service to more than one company, you just have to make sure that the certification classes do not overlap. You must finish one class before you enroll into another class.
Do I have to provide my own equipment?
Yes. You will need to provide your own equipment. Laptop or desktop computers, and a USB headset are required. You are able to purchase your equipment via Amazon or find financing options at here.
What are the pay ranges?
Each client has different rates for each project. Pay typically ranges in between $10 - $18 hourly.
